Anisotropic Redirection

Anisotropic redirection is the physical process of changing the direction, frequency, or properties of an electromagnetic wave in a way that depends on direction, rather than scattering it uniformly in all directions. In wearable phototherapy applications, this refers to how the internal engineered substrate or crystal matrix takes chaotic, broad infrared wavelengths emitted by the skin and systematically bends or forces them into narrow, targeted pathways back toward the body surface.
